Difference between Jim Beam and Jack Daniel’s:
It is a brand of bourbon whiskey owned and produced by Beam Suntory. This bourbon whiskey is the No. 1 selling bourbon brand in the world.
Jim Beam was founded in 1795 and has been operated by one family for 7 generations. The bourbon whiskey has been made to the same secret formula since 1795.
The 1st distillery was founded by Johannes ‘Jacob’ of the German family, Boehm. Later, the family name was changed to the more Anglo-American ”Beam.”
In 2014, it was announced that Beam Inc. would be purchased for $13.6 billion by a Japanese group of brewers & distillers known for producing Japan’s first whiskey, called Suntory Holdings Ltd.

The whiskey has a copper color, with thin legs which make shapes like robust, rolling hills on the side of the glass. It turns cloudy when ice cubes are added.

It is a brand of Tennessee whiskey which is owned and produced by the Brown-Foreman Corporation.
The whiskey is distilled in a process that gives it the title of a Tennessee whiskey, a term recognized by the federal government in 1941, about 80 years after Jasper Newton Daniel started distilling the stuff.
The story goes that Daniel learned the art of distilling from Reverend Dan Call and, in 1866, he bought the land (and registered) where the distillery remains even today.
While there are other distilleries that claim to be older, Jack Daniel’s is definitely the oldest.

Jack Daniel’s is the fourth best-selling spirit in the world (in 2014, Jack Daniel’s sold almost $3 billion worth of whiskey), making it the best-selling American spirit, followed by:

- Jim Beam (14th).

The nose is very smooth, woody before the flavor launches into a mingling of vanilla, caramel, and the signature notes of fruit and oak.
Sweet, with a light mouth-feel and body. Dutch chocolate strands on toast, perfumed wood, orange touches, and cinnamon.
It offers a quick finish with a warm caramel finish which gives way to walnuts and white pepper.

The two whiskeys are manufactured in a similar way, although Jack Daniel’s is Tennessee liquor and it undergoes charcoal filtration, whereas Jim Beam is Kentucky bourbon and is distilled using corn mash fermented in oak barrels.
